Fronius IG inverters come standard with an integrated LCD that displays and records over 20 parameters pertaining to inverter and system operation. 

 Fronius inverters have 3 expansion slots that allow you to add features like external sensors and remote displays.

Furthermore, users can utilize their own personal computers in order to upgrade their inverters with most recent software/application enhancements.

The larger inverters (over 3 kW) are built with the same power stages as the smaller ones, but use 2 of them.

During times of deficient segregation, the inverter still performs with elevated efficiency since these types of inverters automatically determines changes in array capacity. Once the power reaches a certain level a particular platform switches off thus the elevated effectiveness of the product.

The Fronius IG Plus works optimally with all module types, including amorphous modules. The Fronius IG Plus works well with all module types because of its wide input voltage range, galvanic isolation, field programmable grounding option, and its precise MPP tracking feature.

Three efficiency peaks.

With the one of a kind automated transformer switching feature of the Fronius IG Plus, the product is continuously being energy-efficient across a broader input voltage scope by facilitating three parallel efficiency peaks.

Inverters without the transformer switching function tend to drop incessantly with an accelerating input voltage and it only has one efficiency peak as compared to the Fronius IG Plus’ three equal efficiency peaks.

With a 96.2 % maximum efficiency, the Fronius IG Plus series scores the highest grade among HF devices.

 


MIX™ Concept.
The power phases in Fronius inverters split up the operation relying on working hours, securing the optimum power obtained out of fractional load ranges. These merely operate as many power stages as essential to adequately approach obtainable power from the photovoltaic assortment.

Module Manager™.
The Module Manager™ keeps all Fronius IG inverters at the maximum power point (MPP) with fast and exact MPP tracking, ensuring that you get the most power out or each ray of sunlight. This is especially important for amorphous modules whose MPP can be more challenging to track.

Smart and Practical Air Flow Layout.

To avoid exposure to the product’s outlet board, cooling air flow is absorbed in on the wall surface and sent through a sealed method over the heating basin making sure that surrounding elements such as airborne debris or humidity stays outdoor.

At the same time, the components are kept cool – the device operates with a stable consistency.

Equipment features 

Grounding selectable on site.
Decide on site what type of grounding is required as the Fronius IG Plus is field programmable for either positive or negative module grounding.

 

Designed for indoor and outdoor installations.

All Fronius IG Plus inverters have a robust, well designed aluminum housing. UV resistance and corrosion protection enable them to be used either indoors or outdoors.

Fronius is proud to be one of the only inverters tested and approved to operate at 122

Integrated DC disconnect.

The Fronius IG Plus is provided with a permitted, built-in, lockable and load breakable DC Disconnect that does not require external DC disconnect installation or wiring.

The new power plug system.

The connection area and power stages are installed separately from each other. Very easy and extremely safe: The connection area is attached to the wall as normal. Then the power module is simply plugged in.

Linking both parts into one protected device is the power outlet. If assistance is needed, the connector remains on the wall structure preserving all configuration settings

 

Field Programmable AC output voltage.
The Fronius IG Plus inverter series from 3.0 to 11.4 kW is field programmable to 208, 240 or 277 volts (Fronius IG Plus 12.0 kW is limited to 277 volts), which removes the necessity to install several inverter versions to support three-phase setups.
